This position performs moderately complex transportation operations and maintenance support work, including maintenance contract inspections, roadway maintenance, and operation of light and heavy equipment. The employee will assist in identifying, repairing, and installing traffic control devices, providing traffic control support during emergencies, and performing preventive maintenance on equipment.
